In conjunction with the Band Directors’ Association (Singapore) 20th Anniversary celebrations, Band Directors and educators from all over Singapore have come together to form the Band Directors’ Association Wind Orchestra (BDASWO). This wind orchestra will perform in a one-night only performance, with music that will resonate within every musician.
Some of the highlights include:
- a specially commissioned work by prominent local composer Benjamin Yeo
- a piece featuring prolific local alto saxophonist Leslie Wong
- 4 conductors to bring you on an amazing journey, featuring Singapore band movement pioneers Prof Ho Hwee Long and Mr. Luk Hoi Yu, alongside with young conductors Adrian Chiang and Alvin Seville
